Sorted – independent, trusted, non-judgmental

Sorted’s purpose is to inspire and enable New Zealanders to be financially resilient and grow their money for today and tomorrow. It’s been a trusted name in independent financial education and resources since 2001, led for most of that time by the website Sorted.org.nz, users of which clock up more than 2 million sessions a year

Sorted is now an entire ecosystem of digital channels, resources, and community, school and workplace programmes all aimed at lifting financial capability throughout New Zealand in an accessible yet aspirational way. It supports conversations about money across the motu and the generations, with Te whai hua kia ora, Sorted in Schools now being used by 89.6% of secondary schools and kura.

We’re currently getting sorted for Sorted Money Month, our annual, nationwide public awareness campaign that runs every August, providing an extra boost to the country’s financial wellbeing. This year, it will centre on empowering New Zealanders with information on the necessity and benefits of having emergency savings, plus there will be plenty of opportunities to leverage Money Month to educate on money matters outside of this theme.
