Annual reports
At the end of each financial year the Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission publishes an annual report. Each report features an outline of achievements during the year together with an audit of our finances.
Our strategic framework
Our strategic framework shows what drives us as an organisation and what we are aiming to achieve. We summarise it, for simplicity, in a plan on a page.
Statement of Intent
We invite you to read our vision and plan in our 2021-2024 Statement of Intent.
Statement of Performance Expectations
The annual Statement of Performance Expectations details our performance expectations and forecast financial statements.
Letter of Expectations
The Letter of Expectations from the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs outlines the Government’s priorities for Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission for the financial year ahead.
Kia Toipoto
Kia Toipoto is the Public Service Pay Gaps Action Plan, focusing on closing gender, Māori, Pacific, and ethnic pay gaps, accelerating progress for women, and creating fairer workplaces for all.
Briefings for Incoming Ministers
Briefings to Incoming Ministers are documents (known as "BIMs”) that are provided to new Government Ministers on key policies.
This could occur after a general election or a change of Ministerial portfolios and provide an introduction to each portfolio and summarise key areas of policy and policy issues. In some cases, two BIMs are provided, if two government entities are involved in a single portfolio. In the case of Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission, we provide a BIM to the Minister, and so does the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) as MBIE is responsible for administering Vote Business, Science and Innovation, from which Te Ara Ahunga Ora is funded.
The latest BIMs for all departments are found on the Beehive website.
Chief Executive’s expenses
Information on the expenses incurred by the Commissioner is provided in accordance with the State Services Commissioner’s requirement to disclose chief executive expenses, gifts and hospitality. (See details at the government datasets website.)
