Changes to "gathering" rules in level 2

The Government has announced some important changes to the rules around "gatherings" in level 2 that will impact positively on villages.

The key change is that the maximum of people permitted in a social group has been increased from 10 to 100. Rules for cafes and bars still apply - residents must be seated, spaced apart, and have a single server. Dance activities are still not permitted.

The Government will review the Level 2 settings again on 8 June, and will consider a move to Level 1 no later than 22 June.
